Remove the optional equipment from the sample outlet by unscrewing the assembly from the cylinder base (Figure
11).
10.
Unscrew the external sand relief from the valve(s) (Figure 11).

Replace the O-ring on the base of the external sand relief (Figure 12).


Unscrew the jam nut from the adjusting screw (Figure 12).
13.
Inspect the poppet for scratches or other damage (Figure 12). If scratches or other damage are present on the poppet
(face) seat, replace the poppet.
14.
Reassemble the external sand relief (Figure 12).
15.
As necessary, maintain the valve(s) (Figure 11). Refer to the Installation, Operation, and Maintenance (IOM) Manual for
the valve(s) for maintenance instructions.
16. Reassemble the optional equipment, and then set the assembly aside.
