Why doesn't my Wen DG4500iX support all connected electrical devices?

  If your WEN Portable Generator runs but doesn't support all connected devices: * The AC or DC receptacles may be overloaded, causing the circuit breaker to trip. Turn off and unplug all electrical devices, wait 3 minutes, then press the breaker to reset. Check the amperage of the devices to ensure they are within the receptacles’ rated capacities. * There might be a short circuit in one of the devices. Disconnect any faulty or short-circuited electrical devices. * The air filter may be dirty. Clean or replace the air filter element.

How to fix a Wen DG4500iX engine that is 'hunting'?

  If your WEN Portable Generator engine is 'hunting' (RPM fluctuating), consider these potential causes: * Gasoline may not be running through the fuel valve. Ensure there is enough fuel and the CHOKE lever is turned to RUN. * If using propane, the propane level may be low. Switch to a new propane tank or use gasoline. * The air filter may be dirty. Clean or replace the air filter element. * The spark arrestor may be dirty. Clean the spark arrestor. * There may be gunk in the carburetor preventing a consistent fuel/air mixture. Use carburetor cleaner spray on the carburetor bowl and jets.
