  If your Weslo Treadmill power won't turn on, first ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a surge suppressor, and that the surge suppressor is connected to a properly grounded outlet. Also, check the power switch on the treadmill frame near the power cord. If it's protruding, wait five minutes, then press it back in to reset it. If your treadmill is connected to an AFCI-equipped outlet and the circuit breaker trips repeatedly when the treadmill is used, see the front cover of this manual to purchase an arc filter.

How to fix Weslo CADENCE R 5.2 walking belt that slows when walked on?

  If the walking belt on your Weslo Treadmill slows down when you walk on it, it might be overtightened. Remove the key and unplug the power cord. Use the hex key to turn both idler roller screws counterclockwise 1/4 of a turn. The belt is properly tightened when you can lift each edge 2 to 3 inches off the platform. Important: Do not apply silicone spray or other substances to the walking belt or the walking platform unless instructed by an authorized service representative. If the walking belt still slows when walked on, see the front cover of this manual.

  If your Weslo Treadmill turns off during use, check the following: * Check the power switch. If the switch has tripped, wait five minutes and then press the switch back in. * Ensure the power cord is properly plugged in. If it is, unplug it, wait five minutes, and plug it back in. * Remove and reinsert the key from the console. If the treadmill still will not run, please see the front cover of this manual.

Why is the walking belt off-center or slips when walked on Weslo Treadmill?

  If the walking belt on your Weslo Treadmill is off-center or slips when you walk on it, first remove the key and unplug the power cord. If the belt has shifted left, turn the left idler roller screw clockwise 1/2 turn using the hex key. If it has shifted right, turn the left idler roller screw counterclockwise 1/2 turn. If the belt slips, turn both idler roller screws clockwise 1/4 turn. Properly tightened, you should be able to lift each edge of the belt 2 to 3 inches off the platform.
