How to fix a Westinghouse iGen4500DFc Portable Generator that will not start?

If your Westinghouse Portable Generator won't start, there are several potential causes. First, ensure that the generator has enough fuel by refueling it. If the fuel is old or bad, drain the tank and refill it with fresh gasoline. A dirty air filter can also prevent the engine from starting, so clean it. Check the engine oil level and add oil if it's low. If the spark plug is wet with fuel, wait five minutes, turn the Run/Stop switch to OFF, and pull the recoil handle rapidly several times. If it still doesn't start, remove and dry the spark plug. The spark plug may be faulty, fouled, or improperly gapped, so gap or replace it and reinstall. Ensure that the choke is fully open or closed. Also, make sure that the CO sensor is in its original configuration and has not been activated.
