If your Westinghouse Portable Generator won't start or remain running, consider these potential causes: * Ensure the fuel shutoff valve is in the ON position. * Check if the generator is out of gasoline and add gasoline if needed. * Inspect and clean fuel delivery passages to ensure fuel flow is not obstructed. * For electric start models, check the battery output and charge the battery if necessary. * Inspect and clean the air filter if it's dirty. * Check the oil level and add oil if necessary. * Ensure the spark plug boot is fully engaged with the spark plug tip by firmly pushing down on it. * Remove and check the spark plug, replacing it if faulty. * Check and clean the spark arrestor if it's dirty or plugged. * Drain stale fuel and replace it with fresh fuel.
