  If your Whale Water Pump runs but doesn't pump water or pulses, it might be due to a blockage or airlock in the hose. Clear any blockages and make sure the outlet hose runs upward to the thru-hull connector without any dips. Another reason could be a restricted impeller. In this case, remove the pump housing from the base, clear any debris from the chamber and impeller, and ensure the impeller is firmly attached to the shaft and isn't cracked or broken.

  If the fuse blows in your Whale marine equipment, ensure that all system valves/stop cocks are open. Also, check that the inlet and outlet ports are not blocked and that the rest of the system is not blocked. Finally, check for reverse polarity connection.

  Some motor speed variation is normal when your Whale marine equipment is running dry. However, make sure that the yellow crimp hasn't been removed or that the brown and white wires haven't been shortened (they should normally be 1m long).
