What to do if my Whirlpool Dishwasher won't start?
    • K
      Kevin CastilloAug 12, 2025
If your Whirlpool Dishwasher won't start, there might be a few reasons. First, ensure the appliance is properly plugged into the socket. If there was a power outage, press the START/Pause button to resume the cycle, as the dishwasher doesn't restart automatically. Also, check that the dishwasher door is fully closed until you hear a click. If the door was opened for more than 4 seconds during a cycle, close it and press the START/Pause button. If the display shows F9 or F12 and the On/Off and START/Pause LEDs are blinking, switch the appliance off and on again after a minute, and restart the program. If the problem continues, unplug the appliance for 1 minute, then plug it back in.

Why are my dishes not clean in my Whirlpool Dishwasher?
    • A
      Anita GreenAug 16, 2025
If your dishes aren't clean after a cycle in your Whirlpool Dishwasher, several factors could be at play. Ensure the crockery is arranged correctly so the spray arms can rotate freely. Select an appropriate wash cycle for the load. Check that the cap on the rinse aid compartment is properly closed. Also, verify that the filter isn't soiled or clogged, and that there's enough salt in the salt reservoir. An excessive amount of foam might be produced because the detergent has not been measured out correctly or it is not suitable for use in dishwashers.

If your Whirlpool Dishwasher won’t drain and the display shows F3 with blinking LEDs, it could be due to several reasons. First, wait until the wash cycle finishes. Check that the drain hose is not bent. Also, ensure that the sink drain pipe is not blocked, and that the filter is not clogged with food residues.

Why is my Whirlpool Dishwasher not filling with water?
    • D
      David DavisAug 23, 2025
If your Whirlpool Dishwasher isn't filling with water and the display shows F6 with blinking LEDs, it could be due to a few reasons. Ensure there is water in the water supply and that the tap is running. Check that the inlet hose is not bent. Also, the sieve in the water inlet hose may be clogged; it is necessary to clean it. After cleaning, turn the dishwasher off and on, then restart a new program.

How to reduce noise from my Whirlpool Dishwasher?
    • A
      Alexis HebertAug 27, 2025
Excessive noise from your Whirlpool Dishwasher can be caused by a couple of things. Check if the dishes are rattling against each other and position the crockery correctly. If an excessive amount of foam has been produced because the detergent has not been measured out correctly or it is not suitable for use in dishwashers, restart the dishwasher by pressing the DRAIN button and run a new program without detergent.

Why does my Whirlpool WFC 3C26 PF X Dishwasher finish the cycle prematurely?
    • H
      Helen FosterSep 4, 2025
If your Whirlpool Dishwasher is finishing cycles prematurely and displaying F15 with blinking LEDs, it could be due to the drain hose being positioned too low or siphoning into the home sewage system, so check if the end of the drain hose is placed at the correct height. Also, check the water supply for leaks or other issues letting air inside.
