How to stop my Whirlpool WFW75HEF from vibrating?
    • D
      Donna BrooksAug 20, 2025
To prevent vibration, rocking, or “walking” of your Whirlpool Washer, ensure the front and rear feet are firmly in contact with the floor and that the washer is level. Also, make sure the jam nuts are tight against the bottom of the cabinet. Check the floor for flexing or sagging; if uneven, use a ¾" (19 mm) piece of plywood underneath. Avoid installing the washer on a raised wooden platform. The shipping bolts should be removed from the back of the washer, as described in the Installation Instructions. Avoid tightly packing the load or washing single items; balance single items with a few extra items.

What to do if my Whirlpool WFW75HEF won't start?
    • D
      David SanchezAug 22, 2025
If your Whirlpool Washer won't run or fill, or stops working, check the following: Ensure both hoses are attached and have water flowing to the inlet valve, and that both hot and cold water faucets are turned on. Also, check that the inlet valve screens are not clogged and that there are no kinks in the inlet hoses. Plug the power cord into a grounded 3-prong outlet, and ensure there is power to the outlet. Do not use an extension cord or plug into a GFI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter). Check the electrical source or call an electrician to check if the voltage is low. Reset a tripped circuit breaker or replace any blown fuses.

Why is my Whirlpool Washer not draining properly?
    • S
      Shannon GatesAug 25, 2025
If your Whirlpool Washer is not draining or spinning and loads are still wet, check the drain hose to ensure it doesn't extend into the standpipe farther than 4.5" (114 mm). Ensure the drain hose is properly installed and securely attached to the drainpipe or tub, without being taped over the drain opening. Lower the drain hose if the end is higher than 96" (2.4 m) above the floor and remove any clogs. Also, remove any strainer/stocking from the end of the drain hose. The drain hose should fit loosely but securely in the standpipe without being sealed with tape, ensuring an air gap.

Why is my Whirlpool WFW75HEF leaking water?
    • B
      blarsonAug 26, 2025
If you notice water or suds leaking from the door or rear of your Whirlpool Washer, it could be due to using non-HE detergent or using too much HE detergent. Make sure to only use HE detergent and always measure it according to the manufacturer’s directions based on your load requirements. Periodically clean the underside of the glass window to avoid potential leaks. Also, water can drip off the inside of the door if it's opened during the “Add Garment” phase.

    • J
      Jackson BoltonAug 28, 2025
If you see an F# E# or F## E## code (other than described above) on your Whirlpool Washer display, it indicates a system error. Touch POWER once to clear the code, then touch POWER again to restart the washer. If the code reappears, call for service. Alternatively, unplug the washer for 30 seconds and then plug it back in.

    • D
      Danny JohnsonAug 30, 2025

What does the flashing Clean Washer LED mean on my Whirlpool WFW75HEF?
    • J
      Jeffrey GarzaSep 1, 2025
If the Clean Washer LED is flashing at the end of a wash cycle on your Whirlpool Washer, it indicates that the washer has run 30 wash cycles and is reminding you to run the Clean Washer with affresh® cycle. Run the Clean Washer with affresh® cycle. If the Clean Washer with affresh® cycle is not turned on, the LED will stop flashing at the end of a wash cycle after running 3 more regular wash cycles. After 30 more wash cycles are completed, the Clean Washer with affresh® LED will again flash at the end of a wash cycle as a reminder.

Why is my Whirlpool Washer not cleaning clothes well?
    • S
      Shawn GibsonSep 3, 2025
If your Whirlpool Washer is not cleaning or removing stains effectively, ensure you are loading the washer properly by adding items loosely so they can move freely. Use only HE detergent and measure it according to the manufacturer’s directions based on load size and soil level. If you have hard water or a high level of iron (rust) in your water, you may need to install a water softener and/or iron filter.

How to prevent fabric damage in my Whirlpool Washer?
    • S
      santosgeraldSep 5, 2025
To prevent fabric damage in your Whirlpool Washer, empty pockets, zip zippers, and snap or hook fasteners before washing to avoid snags and tears. Tie all strings and straps before starting the wash load. Mend any rips and broken threads in seams before washing. Avoid tightly packing the washer, and load with dry items only.

Why is my Whirlpool WFW75HEF making clicking noises?
    • K
      Kyle LopezSep 7, 2025
If you hear clicking or metallic noises from your Whirlpool Washer, it could be the door locking or unlocking, which is normal and includes 3 clicks after touching and holding START. Alternatively, objects may be caught in the washer drain system. Ensure you empty pockets before washing, as loose items like coins could fall between the washer drum and tub or block the pump. If necessary, call for service to remove the items.
