Do NOT remove the custom ear-tip/earmould from the earwire.
Open the wax guard case as illustrated.

The wax guard consists of the following
parts:
1. Holder
2. Removal hook
3. Wax guard
Insert the removal hook into the used wax
guard.
Pull the used wax guard straight out.
Turn the holder around.
