4. Design and function
4.10 Options
4.10.1 Instrument protective cap
Optionally, the CPG1500 can be equipped with an impact-resistant protective rubber
cap.
Use only the protective rubber cap included in the delivery.
The protective rubber caps of non-explosion-protected instruments
must not be used with Ex instruments, as the Ex protection cannot be
guaranteed. For caps of explosion-protected instruments, observe the
additional information for hazardous areas (Ex i) for the precision digital
pressure gauge, model CPG1500 (14571454).
Protective rubber caps that must not be used in hazardous areas are
identified by the number 14109396.
In the case of protective rubber caps for hazardous areas, this number is
not recognizable.
4.10.2 Bluetooth
®
In order to start wireless data transmission, the function must be set to “On” via
“Menu” / “Basic setting” / “Wireless”. Once this has been done, the Bluetooth
®
symbol blinks in the display. As soon as the CPG1500 is connected to a PC or mobile
device via this Bluetooth
®
interface, the symbol is lit continuously.
Under “Menu” / “Basic setting” / “Wireless”, a distinction can be made between
the Bluetooth
®
Classic or Bluetooth
®
Classic with Bluetooth
®
Low Energy (= LE)
communication types.
Bluetooth
®
Classic is recommended for connection to a PC and/or an Android-enabled
device.
The Bluetooth
®
USB stick is suitable for enabling smooth communication
with the PC. It is optionally available as an accessory.
If no Bluetooth
®
connection can be established with an instrument
within 30 seconds, Bluetooth
®
is deactivated. To start a new connection,
Bluetooth must be reactivated in the menu.
