6. Operation via menu functions
6.2.5 Mean value
If the Mean value function is switched to “On”, the mean value and the interval are
displayed under HOME in the third and fourth line of the matrix field.
The third line of the matrix field shows the mean value measured after the set interval.
The set interval is displayed on the fourth line of the matrix field.
To change, activate or deactivate the Mean value function, proceed as follows under
“Menu” / “Measure mode” / “Mean value”:
1. With the [LIGHT/▼] button or [ZERO/▲] button, select the desired function.
2. Confirm the selection with the [MENU/◀▶] button.
With ON or OFF, the instrument moves back one menu level.
When you select Interval, an input field for the mean value appears.
The entry is made from left to right.
3. Use the [LIGHT/▼] button or [ZERO/▲] button to select the number and use the
[MENU/◀▶] button to jump one digit to the right. (max. 300 seconds)
4. To accept the set mean value, press the [MENU/◀▶] button repeatedly until the
instrument jumps back one menu level.
5. Press the [HOME] button in order to exit the menu.
6.2.6 Rate
This is where you activate the pressure change rate When you select /s or /min, the
change in pressure will be displayed accordingly in seconds or minutes in the fourth line
of the matrix field.
In order to activate or deactivate the Rate function or to change the rate value, proceed
as follows under “Menu” / “Measure mode” / “Rate”:
1. With the [LIGHT/▼] button or [ZERO/▲] button, select the desired function.
2. Confirm the selection with the [MENU/◀▶] button.
The instrument moves back one menu level.
3. Press the [HOME] button in order to exit the menu.
6.2.7 Resolution
This is where you can set the resolution of the pressure value on the display. You can
choose between three resolutions:
4 for 4-digit
5 for 5-digit
5 ½ for 5 ½-digit
To change the resolution, proceed as follows under “Menu” / “Measure mode” /
“Resolution”:
1. Use the [LIGHT/▼] button or [ZERO/▲] button to select the desired resolution.
2. Confirm the selection with the [MENU/◀▶] button.
The instrument moves back one menu level.
