6. Operation via menu functions
3. Press the [HOME] button in order to exit the menu.
The resolution depends on the pressure range of the CPG1500.
6.2.8 Damping
The filter influences the currently displayed measured value.
The measured value of the sensor, which is used for other functions, is not affected.
With “Off”, the filter is inactive and not in operation. Thus only the display on the
CPG1500 is dampened.
The pressure value that is read out via Bluetooth
®
transmission or the values that are
written to the logger are not dampened.
The following factors can be selected:
■
Off
■
Low = 0.6
■
Medium = 0.8
■
High = 0.9
The calculation will be carried out as per the following formula:
Indication value = last indication value * factor + current measured value * (1-factor)
Tare is a temporary offset and has no effect on the measurement
performance of the sensor.
To change, activate or deactivate the damping, proceed as follows under “Menu” /
“Measure mode” / “Damping”:
1. With the [LIGHT/▼] button or [ZERO/▲] button, select the desired function.
2. Confirm the setting by pressing the [MENU/◀▶] button.
⇒
The instrument moves back one menu level.
3. Press the [HOME] button in order to exit the menu.
6.2.9 Measuring rate
The sample rate indicates the interval at which the CPG1500 requests pressure values
from the sensor.
The shortest response time is 50 measurements per second.
The indication rate is set permanently at 3 x display refresh/s.
