6.5 Function lock
Access to adjustable parameters can be selectively turned off, once set, to prevent
unauthorised changes to configuration.
Setting Function
[ZERO] button lock User can no longer run “ZERO” via the keyboard, but it is still
possible via Bluetooth
®
transmission.
[MENU] button lock Access to the “MENU” is locked. If “ZERO” is not locked, this
can still be executed. All settings can still be read or written via
Bluetooth
®
transmission.
Write protection When this lock is set, only read access to the settings is
possible both via the local display menu and via Bluetooth
®
transmission; it is then not possible to change the settings.
If the “ZERO” lock is not set, the “ZERO” function is still
possible.
Logger write protection
If this lock is set, the user can only use the logger if he has previously entered the set
password.
The individual locks can only be set using WIKA-Cal calibration software or WIKA-DCS
configuration software via Bluetooth
®
transmission. For this, the input of a 4-digit PIN is
required. This is set to “0000” in as-delivered condition and can be changed at any time.
6.6 Communication with WIKA-Cal calibration software or
WIKA-DCS configuration software
Communication between WIKA-Cal or WIKA-DCS and the CPG1500 is possible via the
Bluetooth
®
interface.
As soon as a connection via Bluetooth
®
exists, communication with the WIKA-Cal
calibration software is possible. It can transmit and evaluate live measurements or also
measurements that have already been made, without difficulty.
6.6.1 Activating Bluetooth
®
in the CPG1500
To activate Bluetooth
®
on the CPG1500, proceed as follows under “Menu” / “Basic
setting” / “Wireless”:
1. With the [LIGHT/▼] button or [ZERO/▲] button, select the desired action.
2. Confirm the “On” selection with the [MENU/◀▶] button.
The instrument moves back one menu level.
3. Press the [HOME] button in order to exit the menu.
6. Operation via menu functions
