escape when the venti-
lation screw is opened
or shoot out under high
pressure. Beware of
scalding.
– Protect all electrical parts
against the water released from
the unit,
– Carefully push pump shaft back
several times with screwdriver,
– Close ventilation screw,
– Re-open shut-off valve,
– Switch pump back on.
Depending on the
intensity of the
operating pressure, the pump is
liable to block when the screw plug
is open.
Depending on the ope-
rating condition of the
pump and/or installati-
on (fluid temperature)
the entire pump can
become very hot.
Avoid touching the
pump owing to the
risk of burning.
6.2 Setting the pump power
– Choose setting (see para.4.1).
– Preselect the pump capacity
(delivery head) according to
requirements using the regula-

– If the desired delivery head is
not known, we recommend

ATTENTION!
– If the heating output is inade-

setting.
– If the heating output is too high
or flow noise is heard, gradually
decrease the setting.
– Select, i.e. switch on or off, auto-

para. 4.1).
7 Maintenance
Prior maintenance or
repair work switch off
the pump and secure
against unauthorized
switching.
8 Problems, Causes
and Solutions
Motor is switched on but fails to
run:
– Check electrical mains fusess,
– Check voltage of pump (observe
rating plate data),
– Pump blocked:
If the blockage is not rectified
automatically by the automatic
unblocking routine, employ the
manual procedure described
below.
– Switch off pump,
– Close shut-off valves either
side of pump and alloe pump
to cool down. Remove ventila-
