Compatibility
Model MT-SM10 rear cab mount is only intended for use
on a truck and should not be installed on any other vehicle.
The Winegard rear cab mount is designed for use with
the Winegard Carryout G2+ (GM-6000 and GM-6035),
Winegard Pathway X1 (PA-2000, PA-2035, PA2000R,
PA2035R), Winegard DuraSat (GM-6000, GM-6035),
Winegard ConnecT WF1xT (WF-150T) or Winegard
ConnecT 4G1xT (WF-200T) antennas. The rear cab
mount is not compatible and should not be used with
any other products.
Before Installation with Winegard Satellites
When choosing a location to install the mount, keep in
mind that the satellite antenna requires a clear view of the
southern sky for operation. Obstructions such as vehicle
accessories or the vehicle itself may block the signal from
the satellite. To avoid issues with line-of-sight, Winegard
recommends installing the mount and antenna assembly
as high as possible while still meeting installation
guidelines for securing the assembly.
If installing the rear cab mount below the vehicle roof
line, Winegard recommends using the outside position
on the mount. Using the outside position rather than the
inside position will help to alleviate any obstruction by the
tractor itself.
Given the design variation among vehicle manufacturers,
the provided instructions serve as general guidelines for
installing the rear cab mount and should be adapted to fit
the specific vehicle make and model on a case-by-case
basis.
Before installing the rear cab mount, consult with the
vehicle manufacturer for assistance in determining the
appropriate fastening location, method, and materials for
a secure installation.
Failure to install or operate the rear cab mount in accordance with product manufacturer’s installation, assembly,
and operation instructions could result in property damage, personal injury, and/or death.

Obstructed line-of-sight from satellite
Clear line-of-sight from satellite to antenna
Prior to permanently mounting the assembly in the
chosen location, verify adequate signal strength.
This may require holding the antenna in the chosen
location for the mount, hooking up the antenna to
the receiver and power (if applicable), and searching
for signal. Do not bolt down the mount before
ensuring that the antenna is receiving signal in the
chosen location.
