Why is the spraying pressure not being reached with my wiwa DUOMIX 270?
    • T
      tammy12Aug 6, 2025
If your wiwa Paint Sprayer's proportioning pump is running but the required spraying pressure isn't being reached, first, increase the air inlet pressure on the compressed air regulator. If that doesn't solve it, inspect the air line for the correct size and compressor output. Other possible causes include a spraying nozzle that is too big (install a smaller one), a worn spraying nozzle (replace it), or an iced air motor (reduce the air inlet pressure if possible).

Why does my wiwa DUOMIX 270 run irregularly and not reach the required spraying pressure?
    • C
      Chad JonesAug 11, 2025
If the proportioning pump on your wiwa Paint Sprayer runs irregularly and struggles to reach the required spraying pressure, it could be due to several reasons. The spraying material might be too viscous; try diluting it. A leak in the suction system could also be the issue; inspect and replace seals and fittings as needed. Other potential causes include a leaking bottom valve (clean, check, and replace parts if necessary), a leaking piston valve (clean, check, and replace parts if necessary), or worn bottom or top packing (replace the packing).

What to do if the proportioning pump of my wiwa DUOMIX 270 Paint Sprayer doesn't start?
    • M
      Michelle WagnerAug 17, 2025
If the proportioning pump on your wiwa Paint Sprayer doesn't start, even when the spray gun is in use or the return ball valve on the mixing unit is open, several factors could be at play. Ensure the compressed air shut-off valve is open. Check that the air inlet pressure is sufficient. A clogged high-pressure filter, spray gun, or return hose/ball valve can also prevent starting. Clean or replace these components as needed. Finally, a defective air motor could be the culprit, requiring repair or assistance from WIWA customer service.

What to do if my wiwa DUOMIX 270 Paint Sprayer isn't delivering enough material?
    • N
      Nicole CainAug 23, 2025
If the proportioning pump on your wiwa Paint Sprayer is running but isn't delivering enough material, check for a clogged suction strainer (clean or replace it) or a clogged suction hose (clean or replace it). Also, the ball of the bottom valve might be stuck. Try gently tapping the bottom valve from the side. If that doesn't work, unscrew the suction system and try to loosen the ball from underneath. Lastly, the bottom valve may not be closing properly; unscrew it and thoroughly clean the ball and seat.

What to do if my wiwa Paint Sprayer pump doesn't stop when the gun is closed?
    • M
      Michael StokesAug 29, 2025
If the proportioning pump or flushing pump on your wiwa Paint Sprayer doesn't stop when the spray gun is closed, it's likely due to worn packing or a worn valve. Replace the worn parts to resolve this issue.
