1.4 Sharpener Components
Figure 1-1 shows the sharpener component locations:
blade support - supports the blade as it moves around the sharpener
turnbuckle - adjusts the height of the grinding wheel against the gullet and back side
of blade teeth
jog switch - advances the blade by rotating the cam
grinder motor switch - turns on the grinder motor to spin the grinding wheel
cam motor switch - turns on the cam motor to continually move the pusher to index
the blade
pusher wing nut - adjusts the pusher arm, controlling the amount of metal ground
from the face of blade teeth
gauge - tool used to check and adjust the hook angle, wrench on ends
