PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
Dehumidifier does not work The power is not connected - Check that dehumidifier is connected to electricity and that fuse has not gone
- Check that the water reservoir is empty and correctly placed in the dehumidifier.
Does not dehumidify -The water container is full.
-The water container has not
been replaced correctly.
-The air filter is clogged.
The temperature or relative
humidity in the room where
the device is operatingis too low.
- Remove the water from the container.
- Place the water container in the correct position.
- Clean the air filter.
- Check that air can flow freely through the dehumidifier. Front grid and air filter should be clean and dehumidifier should stand
20-30cm from wall
- Check that a thick coating of ice has not formed on the cooling coils.
The dehumidifier works, but
reduces the relative huidity
insufficiently.
-The room is too large.
-There are too many sources
of humidity.
-There is too much ventilation.
- We recommend using a dehumidifier with a greater capacity.
- We recommende using a dehumidifier with a greater capacity.
- Reduce ventilation (e.g close windows and shut doors.)
If none of the above works, you should contact your nearest retailer for checking and possible overhaul of dehumidifier
