How fast should I ash:
The Flash should never “slam” in or out, this will cause damage to the element tray and the element to fail or the glass to break.
The ash should go in at a reasonably controlled speed and do the majority of the ashing on the retract.
The Flash should not be drying the ink, it should be gelling the ink to allow another coat of ink to lay on top of the design.
The amount of ink being placed on the garment will determine the necessary speeds, keep in mind half tones will ash faster than
big block of ink.
My ashback is leaking air:
First thing to determine is it weeping air or leaking.
Weeping air is normal we supply a ball valve on the ashback to shut the air o when the press is not being used, this will help
from depleng the air in the reserves.
Leaking large amounts of air is not normal, check and see if the air can be felt, replace any ngs or air lines that my be suspect.
If air is leaking from the exhaust from the valve that is not normal, with the air o remove the air supply line to the ashback
valve. Once removed place a few drops of lite machine oil into the air line, replace the line. Cycle to Flashback a few mes and
listen for leaks, if they connue the Flashback valve will need to be replaced.
