Cause Remedy
No short pH electrode or adapter – Connect short pH electrode or
adapter
– Check the plug connection
– Switch the meter off and then on
again.
– Perform processor reset
– Replace short pH electrode or
adapter

defective
– Check the plug connection
– Switch the meter off and then on
again.
– Processor reset:
Press <1> and <8> at the
same time and release them
again.
Stored data and calibration
values are retained.
– Replace short pH electrode or
adapter
Cause Remedy
Electrode:
– Junction contaminated – Clean junction
– Membrane contaminated – Clean membrane
Measuring solution:
– pH value not stable – Measure with air excluded if
necessary
– Temperature not stable – Adjust temperature if necessary
