  If the motor on the film tension of your Wulftec packaging equipment never stops turning, it could be due to several reasons. The steel cam may not be touching the analog sensor when the dancer bar is at rest. Try turning the steel cam closer to the analog sensor or moving the analog sensor toward the cam; these are located under the red cover on the film carriage. Alternatively, the minimum speed trim pot on the pre-stretch drive might not be set to minimum, so turn it counter-clockwise. Also, check the tension adjustment spring on the side of the carriage; if it's set too light, increase the pressure by turning the knob clockwise. Finally, ensure that the clamp is closed.

Next, inspect the fuse for any shorts; if none are found, replace the fuse with one of the appropriate rating. The cut wire itself may be broken, so replace it with a .032 gage nychrome wire. Additionally, the flow controls on the cylinders might need adjustment; look for kinks in the hose, and if none are present, adjust the flow control on the cylinder. Also, verify that the air pressure to the system is adequate; the pressure gauge should read no less than 80 PSI. Lastly, the cylinder itself may be defective, in which case it should be replaced.
