Troubleshooting Tips
Fault Possible cause Remedy
The green indication of the
charger remains dark; bat-
tery cannot be charged
The plug of the mains adapter is not completely
pluged into the socket or the connection to the
charging cradle is interrupted
Plug in mains adapter correctly; connect it correctly
to the charging cradle
Power socket defective Have the power socket checked by a qualied
technician
The green LED or the charger / mains adapter is
defective
Have the charger / mains adapter checked by a
customer service authorized by Würth
Fan motor does not start
working after the sleeve has
been pressed against the
surface.; the charging state
indication is dark
Battery is not correctly inserted Remove battery and insert it again until it clicks into
place
Battery contacts soiled, oily or corroded Clean battery contacts
Battery deeply discharged or defective Charge battery or remove (see Battery and charger
section)
Fan motor defective Have the device checked by a customer service
authorized by Würth
The ring process was not
triggered although the
sleeve had been pushed
and the trigger had been
actuated; normal fan motor
operation; charging state

Gas cartridge empty Change the gas cartridge

Combustion chamber not compressed correctly:
Test: Press sleeve against the surface for approx. 1
min, then actuate the trigger.
If no ring is triggered, there is a loss of sealing.

Sleeve does not return to
initial position
Worn or twisted driver's blade; piston jammed due
to defective piston rings; contact arm of sleeve
