STOP THE ENGINE
Do not start the engine during following inspections. Disconnect the Battery terminals.
Move shift handle to “Neutral”, “Forward” and “Reverse”.
Turn propeller and check that gears are in “Neutral”, “Forward” and “Reverse”.
(1) MANUAL HANDLE MODEL
Is the shift rod correctly by the joint nut? Connect correctly.
YES
NO
Are the dogs of clutch dog or gear, damaged? Replace.
NO
YES
Is the shift cam or shift plunger damaged? Replace.
NO
YES
Is the cross pin or cross pin ring broken? Replace.
NO
YES
RE-CHECK
