RECOIL STARTER
Collar and roller
1. Visually inspect the collar and roller for
wear and, if both or either is worn,
replace them as a set.
Sheave drum
1. Visually inspect the sheave drum and
sheave pin for damage, cracks or warp-
ing and, if these are found, replace the
sheave drum.
Bushing
1. Visually inspect the bushing for wear or
cracks and replace if required.
Starter rope
1. Visually inspect the starter rope for
kinks or fraying and, if any damage is
found, replace the starter rope.
WARNING
Do not use a damaged starter rope which
could cause injury.
Starter rope length:
1,925 mm (75.8 in)
