5. Stator coil resistance
S Remove the generator cover.
S Connect the pocket tester (Ω 1) to the sta-
tor coils as shown.
Replace the stator
coil assembly.

S Measure the stator coil resistances.

0.22 X 0.34 Ω at 20_C (68_F)
S Is the stator coil OK?

6. Wiring
S Check the wiring connections of the entire
charging system.
Refer to “CIRCUIT DIAGRAM”.
S Is the charging system’s wiring properly con-
nected and without defects?
Properly connect or
repair the charging
system’s wiring.

Replace the rectifi-
er/regulator.
4. Stator coil lead
S Disconnect stator coil lead coupler.
S Connect the pocket tester (Ω 1) to the sta-
tor coil lead coupler as shown.
