  If your Yamaha Motorcycle engine won't start, several factors could be at play. If there's enough fuel, check the compression. If there's no fuel, supply fuel. If wet spark plugs are the cause, wipe them off with a dry cloth and correct the spark plug gaps, or replace them. If the battery is good, operate the electric starter. If the engine turns over slowly, check the battery lead connections, check the vehicle, and have a Yamaha dealer charge the battery if necessary. For no compression or dry spark plugs, it's best to have a Yamaha dealer check the vehicle.

  If your Yamaha Motorcycle engine is overheating, it could be due to several reasons related to the cooling system. First, check the cooling system for any leakage. If there is no leakage, the coolant level might be low, in that case add coolant. If the coolant level is OK, start the engine and if it overheats again, have a Yamaha dealer check and repair the cooling system. If there is leakage, check the cooling system for leakage. For a low coolant level, have a Yamaha dealer check and repair the cooling system.
