SKIS
The skis are equipped with wear bars, or skags, that aid
in turning the machine and protect the bottoms of the skis
from wear and damage caused by road crossings and bare
terrain. The bars are expendable and should be checked
for wear and damage at periodic intervals and replaced
when they are worn to the point
that they no longer protect
the skis or aid in turning.

Mark the skis left or right to reinstall them on their

mounting bracket (7,

On MM700A, VT600, VX600ER and VX700SXA
models each ski is protected by a removable ski cover
