Thank you for purchasing the Yamaha MS300 powered speaker system.
The development of this powered bi-amplifier speaker system is a natural extension of
Yamaha’s extensive experience and knowledge of PA devices. The MS300 faithfully repro-
duces sound for a wide range of applications. Please read this owner’s manual thoroughly
to make the best use of the MS300 for the longest possible period of time. Keep the manual
in a safe place for future reference.
Features
• Lightweight, high-powered speaker with a
newly-developed 12-inch woofer
• The speaker uses an “EE Engine” based on
Yamaha’s proprietary amplifier drive technology
for high-efficiency drive. It features a high-output
bi-amplifier configuration (LF 225 W and HF
85 W).
• Optional speaker stand and installation brackets
available for various applications.

Rear Panel

POWER switch

Turns the unit on and off. The POWER indicator lights up green when the unit is on.

AC IN connector

Connect the included power cord to this connector.

LINE connectors

Accept line-level sources such as mixers via XLR or 1/4" phone jacks.

LINE LEVEL control

Adjusts the signal level input from the LINE connectors.

MIC connector

Balanced XLR-3-31 connector for mic-level sources with a 70 Hz low-cut filter.

MIC control

Adjusts the signal level input at the MIC connector.

MASTER LEVEL control
