Before operation
Engine oil
1. Place the multi-purpose engine on a level surface.
2. Remove the oil filler cap.
3. Fill the specified amount of the recommended
engine oil.
4. Check the oil level of the oil filler hole.
5. Install the oil filler cap.
The multi-purpose engine has been shipped with-
out engine oil. Do not start the engine until you
have filled it with the sufficient engine oil.

Be sure no foreign material enters the crankcase.

MX175/MX200 0.6 L (0.63 US qt, 0.53 Imp qt)
MX250/MX300 1.0 L (1.06 US qt, 0.88 Imp qt)
MX360/MX400 1.1 L (1.16 US qt, 0.97 Imp qt)
