Troubleshooting
3. Check the air filter.
a. Check the air filter element clogging.
Clean or replace if clogged.
4. Check the fuses.
a. Remove the fuse holder from the fuse holder
bracket.
b. Replace the blown fuse with one of proper
amperage.
• If the fuse immediately blows again, consult a
Yamaha dealer.
• For the 30 A fuse, there is identification red tape on
the wire harness.
c. Install the fuse holder to the original position.
Be sure to use specified fuse. A wrong fuse will
cause electrical system damage and A FIRE HAZ-
ARD.
To prevent accidental short circuiting, be sure stop
the engine before replacing the fuse.
