To resolve this, turn the power off and check for any shorts in the speaker terminal, amplifier, or wiring. Also, verify that the speaker is not damaged and that the total impedance is not excessively low. Then, review the speaker connection and turn the power back on.

If the meter rises, there may be problems at the output side. Also, check the mixer outputs connected to the input jacks and raise the output of the mixer if it is lowered. Ensure the volume knob is properly adjusted, and the mute is off. If the protection circuit is engaged, identify and resolve the cause. If you are using Power Boost mode (PX5 and PX3 only), audio signals are not output from channel B, so cancel Power Boost mode or reconnect the cables.

  The display on your Yamaha PX amplifier automatically turns off for protection purposes. If the amplifier hasn't been operated for 20 minutes, the display will turn off. To turn it back on, press any key on the front panel or rotate the main knob. Also, if the Black-out mode is enabled, the backlight turns off after about 10 seconds of inactivity. Press any key on the front panel to turn the backlight on again. To prevent this, disable Black-out mode.
