If the problem continues, the cables might be faulty. 2. Select the right input source using the INPUT l / h, 6CH INPUT, or the input selector buttons. 3. Check that the speaker connections are secure. 4. Increase the volume. 5. If the sound is muted, press MUTE or any operation button to unmute and then adjust the volume. 6. Ensure the source you are playing is compatible with the receiver.

      Your Yamaha Receiver might fail to turn on due to several reasons: the power cord may not be properly connected, so ensure it is firmly connected; the IMPEDANCE SELECTOR switch on the rear panel may not be fully set, so set it fully to the left or right position; the protection circuitry may have been activated, so check all speaker wire connections; or the unit may have been exposed to a strong electric shock, in which case you should disconnect the power cord, wait 30 seconds, and then plug it back in.
