3. NOTICE: NEVER attempt to remove the
covers or fill a maintenance-free battery.
Remove the caps and check the
electrolyte level in all cells.
4. If the level is lower than the minimum fill
level (Figure 3, (1)), fill with distilled
water (Figure 3, (2)) (available locally)
up to the upper limit (Figure 3, (3)) of
the battery.

Note: The maximum fill level is
approximately 10 - 15 mm (3/8 - 9/16 in.)
above the plates. Battery fluid tends to
evaporate in high temperatures, especially
in summer. In such conditions, inspect the
battery more often.
Every 250 Hours of Operation
Perform the following maintenance every
250 hours of operation or yearly, whichever
comes first.
Draining the Fuel Tank
Replacing the Fuel Fine Filter
Replacing the Fuel Filter / Water
Separator Element
Changing the Engine Oil and
Replacing the Engine Oil Filter
Element
Checking or Replacing the Seawater
Pump Belt
Replacing the Anodes
Checking or Replacing the Seawater
Pump Impeller
Replacing the Turbocharger Heat
Shield
Checking the Exhaust / Water Mixing
Elbow
Replacing the Air Filter Element
Cleaning the Turbocharger Blower
Checking or Replacing the Alternator
Belt
Changing the Power Steering Fluid
Checking the Shift Cable Adjustment
Adjusting the Propeller Shaft
Alignment
Checking the Hydraulic Oil Cooler
Checking or Replacing Rubber Hoses
Checking Flexible Engine Mounts
