YORK INTERNATIONAL 113
FORM 155.16-O3
(EPROM version A.02F.01 and later)
Displayed when the steam supply temperature (as
sensed by thermistor RT7) has increased to > the warn-
ing threshold, the warning message is automatically
cleared and the alarm is automatically silenced. The
actual shutdown threshold is determined by the position
of Micro Board program jumper JP5. The unit design
determines the appropriate position of this jumper: “Stan-
dard temperature units” require the jumper to be “IN”,
“High temperature units” (equipped with additional tube
supports) require the jumper be removed. This jumper
must never be changed by anyone other than a qualified
service technician. The thresholds are as follows:
JP5 – IN Standard units,
Warning threshold = 285.0°F (140.6°C)
Reset threshold = 284.0°F (140°C)
OUT High temperature units,
Warning threshold = 337.0°F (169.4°C)
Reset threshold = 336.0°F (168.9°C)
WARNING – PURGE PUMP SERVICE RECOMMENDED
Displayed when the purge pump operating hours are
equal to or greater than the programmed “Purge Pump
Service Interval”. After servicing the pump, pressing the
WARNING RESET key in SERVICE mode clears the
message and resets the counter.
REPLACE RTC, U16 – REPROGRAM SETPOINTS
Indicates that the battery located inside the REAL TIME
CLOCK IC Chip (U16 on the Micro Board) is defective.
This battery provides backup power to the RTC memory
(RAM) in the event of a utility AC power failure. This as-
sures that system setpoints will be maintained. If this
message appears, the RTC IC Chip (U16 on the Micro
Board) must be replaced. If there is a power failure while
this message is displayed, the setpoints will be lost and
must be reprogrammed.
MANUAL PUMP OPERATION FAULT
MESSAGES
Anytime an operator or service technician attempts to
manually operate a system pump, and there is a
condition(s) preventing the pump from starting or stop-
ping, that condition(s) is displayed when the MANUAL
PUMP key is pressed. If more than one condition is pre-
venting the pump from operating, the messages will scroll
on the display until the MANUAL PUMP key is released.
The messages that can be displayed are as follows:
SOLUTION PUMP MOTOR OVERLOADS OPEN
(Not on 50 Hz Models YIA-10E3 – YIA-14F3 with Frank-
lin pumps)
Indicates the solution pump is prevented from starting
because solution pump motor overload (1OL) or ther-
mal switch (MTH1) is open. The overload must be manu-
ally reset; the thermal switch automatically resets when
the temperature decreases.
ABSORBER PUMP MOTOR OVERLOADS OPEN
(50 Hz Models YIA-10E3 – YIA-14F3 with Franklin
pumps)
Indicates the absorber pump is prevented from starting
because the absorber pump overload (1OL) or thermal
switch (MTH1) is open. The overload must be manually
reset; the thermal switch automatically resets when the
temperature decreases.
GENERATOR PUMP MOTOR OVERLOADS OPEN
(50 Hz Models YIA-10E3 – YIA-14F3 with Franklin
pumps)
Indicates the generator pump is prevented from starting
because the generator pump overload (4OL) or thermal
switch (MTH4) is open. The overload must be manually
reset; the thermal switch automatically resets when the
temperature decreases.
REFRIGERANT PUMP MOTOR OVERLOADS OPEN
Indicates the refrigerant pump is prevented from start-
ing because the refrigerant pump overload (2OL) or ther-
mal switch (MTH2) is open. The overload must be manu-
ally reset; the thermal switch automatically resets when
the temperature decreases.
REFRIGERANT LEVEL FLOAT SWITCH FAULTED
Indicates a manual dilution cycle is inhibited because
the Refrigerant Level Float Switch (1F) is open indicat-
ing a low refrigerant level.
MOTOR COOLANT FLOAT SWITCH OPEN
(Units equipped with Franklin pumps only)
Indicates a manual dilution cycle is inhibited because
the refrigerant and solution (absorber and generator
