Programmable key
Allows uploading and downloading the unit operating pro-
gram. This operation can be carried out with the unit off, as
the key has internal batteries (three 1.5 V, 190 mA Duracell
D357H batteries, or equivalent).
Download of unit program to the key
- Remove the key cover and set the two dip-switches to the
OFF position. Replace the cover.
- Insert the key (four-pole socket connector) in the plug
connector at the bottom right of the display and keyboard
module.
- Press the key button. The LED will turn on in red. Once
this download is completed, it will turn green. Once this
sequence is completed, release the button and remove
the key from the module.
Upload of unit program to the key
- Remove the key cover and set the two dip-switches as fol-
lows: dip-switch 1 to OFF, dip-switch 2 to ON. Replace the
cover.
- Insert the key (four-pole socket connector) in the plug
connector at the bottom right of the display and keyboard
module.
- Press the key button. The LED will turn on in red. Once this
upload is completed, it will turn green. Once this sequence
is completed, release the button and remove the key from
the module.
