Maintenance Features
- Salt Container: Needs to be filled with special dishwasher salt. Before first use, add one litre of water to the container. Filling the salt container should be followed by starting a programme to prevent corrosion.
- Rinse Aid Dispenser: Needs to be filled with special dishwasher rinse aid. The rinse aid indicator signals when refilling is needed.
- Detergent Dispenser: Designed for dishwasher detergent. A small quantity can be added to compartment B for programmes with a prewash phase.
- Filters: Regular cleaning of the interior filter system (flat filter, coarse filter, microfilter) is essential for good washing results. The manual provides detailed steps for disassembling, cleaning, and reassembling the filters.
- Spray Arms: The holes in the spray arms should be checked for clogging and cleaned with a thin pointed object if necessary.
- External Cleaning: Clean with a moist soft cloth and neutral detergents. Avoid abrasive products or solvents.
- Internal Cleaning: Clean the rubber gasket of the door with a soft damp cloth. For regular short programme use, running long duration programmes at least twice a month is recommended to prevent grease and limescale deposits. A specific cleaning product for dishwashers is recommended monthly.
- Troubleshooting: The manual provides a comprehensive troubleshooting guide for common issues and alarm codes (e.g., 10 for no water fill, 20 for no water drain, 30 for anti-flood device activation). It also offers solutions for unsatisfactory washing and drying results, such as streaks, stains, wet dishes, foam, rust, and odours.
- Service: In case of problems not solvable by troubleshooting, users are advised to contact an Authorised Service Centre. Only original spare parts are recommended.
