  If the Zebex Barcode Reader does not accept more than two or three barcode labels, it might be due to: * No proper handshaking with the POS system. Switch on the POS system and check the connection and communication settings. * The scanner continuously seeing a barcode. Remove all barcode labels out of the scan volume of the scanner and try again. * No proper handshaking between the scanner and the host. Make sure that all cables are connected and your POS system is ready to receive data.

Why is my Zebex Barcode Reader motor not rotating?

  If your Zebex Barcode Reader is on, but the motor isn't rotating, and a barcode cannot be read, with the LED intermittently flashing red, the scanner may have entered sleep mode. To resolve this, press the switch on top of the scanner to wake it up, or use the wake protocol.

  If both the red and blue LED light up (appearing the color purple) and remain flashing on your Zebex Barcode Reader, it indicates that the scanner has failed the self-test. Immediately disconnect the scanner from its power source and contact your dealer.
