3. If the media cartridge is...
Empty
a. Dispose of or recycle the empty media cartridge
according to your local ordinances.
b. Insert a different media cartridge in the printer.
Not empty
a. Reinsert the media cartridge into the printer.
b. If the error persists, clean the smart card on the
media cartridge and the media cartridge sensor (see
Cleaning the Smart Card Contacts
and the Media Cartridge Sensor Pins on page 52).
c. If the error reoccurs after cleaning, replace the media cartridge.
d. If the error reoccurs with a different media cartridge, contact
technical support (see Contacts on page 11).
Not empty, but wristbands are protruding from the
cartridge or jamming in the printer
Media is not loading correctly.
a. Cut off the protruding part of the wristband. Do NOT
pull the wristband out of the media cartridge, or you
will damage the media cartridge.
b. Reinsert the cartridge into the printer.
c. If the error reoccurs, replace the media cartridge.
d. If the error reoccurs with a different media cartridge, contact
technical support (see Contacts on page 11).
