2. Unplug the Motor connector cable (J4) from the Main Logic Board (MLB).
3. Remove the Motor from the Printer Frame by pushing it toward the MLB,
pulling up and sliding the motor’s pinion gear through the key hole in the
Printer Frame.
Installing the Replacement Motor
1. Insert the Motor’s pinion gear through the key hole in the Printer Frame as
shown above. Mesh it with the gears on the side of the Printer frame.
2. Rotate the motor into place on the Printer Frame such that the screw hole lines
up.
3. Reconnect one end of the ground strap to the motor and the other end to the
MLB with the screws supplied with the kit. Press down on the ground strap to
fold it flat against the top of the motor as shown.
4. Reconnect the motor connector cable to the MLB.
5. Install Upper Housing onto Lower Housing as previously described.
