Replacement Kit RK18931-005- Peeler Assembly
Installation Instructions
This kit includes the parts and documentation necessary to install the
RK18931-005 Peeler Assembly Kit for the P4T/RP4T model printer. Read these
instructions thoroughly before attempting to install this kit.
Tools Required
Flat head screwdriver
Removing the Peeler Assembly
1. Remove the Peeler Door (p/n CA18547-1) with a flat head screwdriver by
gently prying it open from the right side as shown below.
2. Remove two (2) compression springs (p/n BA18918-1) from the plastic posts
above the platen roller.
3. Disconnect the Peeler Sensor Cable (p/n CL18717-1) located next to one of
the plastic (spring) posts.
4. Remove Peeler Bar (p/n BA18638-1) located over the platen roller by lifting up
on the left side where it snaps into the retaining slot and sliding it out of the
hole on the right side.
