Main Logic Board Assembly
Introduction
You will need to replace the Main Logic Board (MLB) Assembly if it has been
determined that it no longer functions properly. You must re-load the printer’s
application files and re-calibrate the printer after replacing the MLB.
Tools Required
#0 or #1 Phillips Head Screw Driver
Removing the Main Logic Board (MLB) Assembly
1. Remove the Upper Housing from the Lower Housing to expose the MLB.
2. Remove the screw attaching the Motor ground cable to the MLB as described on
Page 2-27.
3. Unplug all cables from the MLB, including the motor cable (J4), latch switch
cable (J19), gap sensor cable (J7), black bar sensor cable (J6), SIM card cable
(J20), display cable (J3), keypad cable (J17), ribbon sensor cable (J10) and
printhead cable (J5).
4. Lift up on the two plastic tabs (illustrated below) holding the board in place and
remove the board from the printer frame.
5. If the printer has radios present, disconnect the antenna cables or remove the
Bluetooth and radio boards as described elsewhere, and then remove the MLB
Assembly.
