802.11g Radio & Bluetooth Radio Assemblies
Installation Instructions
This kit includes the parts and documentation necessary to install
Replacement Kits RK18931-012 and RK18931-013 for the Radio and Bluetooth
Radio Assemblies.
Tools Required
#0 or #1 Phillips Head Screw Driver
Removing the 802.11g and Bluetooth Radios
1. Remove the MLB Assembly as described in the previous section.
2. Locate the Radio Board (p/n CQ17544-G1) and Bluetooth Radio Board
(p/n CQ17953-G2) on the underside of the MLB.
3. Disconnect the antenna cable for each board from the antenna cards located
below the printer frame in the upper housing.
4. Locate the three screws on each PCBA and remove to detach both radio
boards from the MLB.
