Installing and setting up a Windows 2008 Server
1. Install a new server OS, Windows 2008 Server 64 bit.
2. Log in as Admin user with password.
3. Check the following services by running the command “Services.msc” from the
Start->Run menu, and make sure the following services are started/running:
a. SSDP Discovery –
b. Function discovery resource publication.
c. UPnP device host-
d. DNS Client.
4. The services mentioned above should be running to ensure that the following network
settings are saved and take effect.
