What to do if the Zeiss Axiolab 5 Microscope image has shadows or is not entirely visible?

Shadows or inhomogeneous image brightness, or a field that is not entirely visible in your Zeiss microscope image, can be due to: * The vis/phot push-pull rod/shift knob on the photo tube is not in the correct functional position (intermediate position). Move the vis/phot push-pull rod/shift knob to the correct functional position (end position). * The nosepiece with objective not engaged in click-stop. Push in nosepiece with objective until it engages. * The condenser is not correctly adjusted. * The aperture diaphragm is not correctly adjusted. * The luminous-field aperture is not correctly adjusted. * The filter has not been inserted correctly in the filter mount. Insert filter correctly in the filter mount.
