2.3 Disassembly of the stand with balance type 481.1500 (Fig. 4)
Turn the interlock knob 17 to the OFF position and turn around the stand with the scale base
15 facing upwards. Remove the battery cover 18 and take out the batteries.
Remove the two screws 28 together with the spring washers 25.
Pull back the scale base 15, taking care not to break off the wires connecting the sensor cpl.
22 with the electronic plate with a display 24.
Pull out the plug of wires of the sensor cpl. 23 from the electronic plate 24.
Squeezing the catches of the sleeve protruding from the scale base 15, remove the interlock
knob 17 and the interlock fork 16.
Pull out the plug of wires of the battery container 23 from the electronic plate 24.
Push in the catches of the electronic guard 19, and then by means of a screwdriver prize the
guard up at the bottom of the scale base and remove the guard (taking care not to damage
the sockets in the electronic plate and not to bend the guard catches while pushing in).
Remove the electronic plate with a display 24.
Remove the battery container micro-switch 23 from the pins of the scale base 15 (Fig. 6), and
then remove the battery container from the scale base (take care not to pull off the wires).
Pull back the three catches protruding from the scale base 15 (at the side of the interlock
knob 17) and remove the metal cover 21.
Remove the six supports 13 from the scale base 15 (prize them up with a screwdriver, if
necessary).
Remove the four screws 27 from the base 1 in order to remove the second metal guard 21.
Separate the sensor cpl. 22 from the metal guard 21 by removing the two screws 28 together
with the spring washers 25.
Carry out further disassembly steps according to the disassembly of stand with bowl
type 481.1000 (page 24).
Note: The decorative foil 20 is glued to the scale base 15 once only and after the
stripping it needs to be renewed.
Note: In the case of damage to the electronic plate 24 or sensor cpl. 22, replace both
parts which are available as Electronic PCB cpl. 481.1530 (they must be replaced
as a complete unit in order to work correctly).
2.4 Disassembly of the motor type 252.1000 (Fig. 5)
Pull off the clutch 16 from the end of the rotor 1. Unsolder the chokes 17 from the brush
frames 18 and disconnect them from the stator 2.
Unbend the plugs of the brush frames 18, remove the brush springs 20 and the brushes 19.
Remove the brush frames 18 from the bearing disc 4.
Remove the screws 21, remove the wheel interlock 15, remove the gear wheel 14.
Remove the screws 22. Remove the gear housing 3 from the stator 2.
Remove the rotor 1 from the stator 2 and the bearing disc 4. Remove the washers 8,9,8 from
the rotor 1, and remove the ball 7 from the rotor shaft 1.
Remove the bearing disc 4 from the stator 2. Remove the bearing clamp 6 and the bearing 5
from the bearing disc 4.
Remove the wheel interlock 13 from the sockets of the gear housing 3, and remove the thrust
bearing in the form of resist washer 11, paper insert 12 and felt 10.
Remove the bearing clamp 6 and the bearing 5 from the gear housing 3.
Note: The spring washer 9 and the bearing clamp 6 are single-use items.
