directions
come with these
cleaners,

Allow
unit to dry
before
using
again.
NOTE;
if Zenith Tape
Head Cleaner
is not
available,
use a
cotton
swab (Zenith Part
No. 929-128)
dampened
in high
purity
isopropyl
alcohol,
CAUTION: Do
not
use other
commercial tape
head
cleaners
or cleaning cartridges,
as they
may react
unfavorably
with
the
material
used in the manufacture
of the
tape head.
Do
not
clean
the head with
any sharp or metal
object. Do not
use
a brush with
a metal
band around the
bristles.
Do not
allow any
cleaning
materials to fall into
the tape
assembly.
TAPE
HEAD
DEMAGNETIZING
The
Tape
Head, after
a long
period of
time,
will acquire
some magnetism.
A Tape Head
that
is magnetized
will show
a
definite loss
of high
frequency
response
and an increase
in noise
level.
Use any commercially
available head
demagnetizer,
following
the instructions
included
with the
unit to
demagnetize
the
head.
