The voltage supply for external devices is +24 V ± 20%, Imax 70 mA. Power loss in standby is approximately 10 mA (short-circuit-proof). The maximum contact rating of the relay is 2 A / 250 V AC. The maximum permissible ambient temperature for operation is 55 °C. The minimum permissible ambient temperature is 0 °C (if mains voltage is not switched off up to -20 °C). Permissible temperature range for storage and transport is -30...+80 °C. The installation height is 0...4000 m amsl. The maximum permissible output current is current indication name plate minus 5% / 1000 m. The maximum permissible line voltage is max. voltage indication name plate minus 12.9% / 100 m. Permissible relative humidity is 85% no condensation. The device complies with EMC standards EN IEC 61000-6-3 (domestic household applications) and EN IEC 61000-6-2 (industrial applications). Harmonics current compliance is according to EN 61000-3-2 (see Electrical installation / Harmonics current). The housing protection is IP54.

The maximum load dependent on line voltage and ambient temperature varies. For example, at 40 °C and 208 V (-15%), the FSDM2.5(A)M has a maximum load of 2.5 A, while at 50 °C and 480 V (+10%), it has a maximum load of 1.6 A. Similarly, the FSDM50(A)M at 40 °C and 208 V (-15%) has a maximum load of 50.0 A, and at 50 °C and 480 V (+10%), it has a maximum load of 46.0 A.

Usage Features

The Fcontrol Basic is designed for ease of use and integration. It features a clear terminal compartment for electrical connections, with designated terminals for line, motor, indication relays, and control signals. The device supports various fastening methods, including 3 or 4 points depending on the model, ensuring secure mounting. Cable inlet options are provided for different cable sizes, with provisions for both factory-installed step nozzles and attached cable inlets for cable glands.
