Range is not connected to electrical power. ASK A PROFESSIONAL to
check power circuit breaker, wiring and fuses.
Oven is still in self-clean mode. Door latch will release when a safe
temperature is reached.
Burner ports are clogg
ed. Unit is not set to the appropriate gas
type. CALL A QUALIFIED TECHNICHIAN TO REPAIR.
Turn the oven off at the circuit breaker and wait 5 minutes. Turn the
breaker back on, The oven will reset itself and will be operable.
Check the circuit breaker or fuse box to your house. Make sure there is
proper electrical power to your oven. Make sure the oven temperature
has been selected.
Light bulb is burned out. Range is not connected to power/
clean cycle is on.
Circuit is tripped. Fuse is blown. Range is not connected to power.
Replace or reinsert the light bulb if loose or defective.
Check for obstruction in the oven door. Check to see if hinge is bent.
There may be soil or build up on the lens cover. Wipe the lens cover
with a clean, dry towel prior to attempting to remove the lens cover.
Possible Cause and / or Remedy
Self-Clean Cycle Does Not Activate Door is not shut tight enough for automatic door lock to latch.
Broil Does Not Work Temperature control knob is rotated too far past broil position (500°F);
preheating indicator will light intermittently.
Igniter Sparking Taut
No Flame Ignition
Gas supply valve is on “OFF” position. Gas supply is interrupted.
