Intended users
Users must be familiar with CPR and trained in safe use of the system. Users should be trained in Basic Life
Support (BLS) and/or Advanced Life Support (ALS) techniques.
Intended patients
The system is intended for use on patients with the following physical characteristics:
• Chest circumferences between 76 cm and 142 cm (30 in to 56 in)
• Minimum chest width of 25 cm (9.8 in)
• Maximum weight of 181 kg (400 lbs)

AutoPulse NXT Platform
The AutoPulse NXT platform (platform), when connected to the band, performs automated chest compres-
sions. Controls and indicators are in the user control panels.
