Set the Access Point Names
You can use the default Access Point Names (APN) to connect to
the internet. If you want to add a new APN, please contact your
network operator to get detailed information.
1. Tap Home Key >
> Settings > Wireless & networks >
Mobile networks > Access Point Names.
2. Tap Menu Key > New APN.
3. Set the necessary parameters (see Getting Connected- Con-
necting to the Internet- GPRS/3G/EDGE- Add a new GPRS/3G/
EDGE connection.)
4. Tap Menu Key > Save.

Protecting Your Phone with a Screen Lock
Set the screen unlock pattern
You can protect your phone from unauthorized use by creating a
personal screen unlock pattern.
1. Tap Home Key >
> Settings > Location & security > Set
unlock pattern.
2. Read the instructions and tap Next.
3. Watch the example pattern and tap Next.
4. Draw your own pattern and tap Continue.
